Recently I was asked to hold a ritual on manifestation. I kind to think of manifestation these days from the attitude of “oh no not that old chestnut.”
But it made me stop. More importantly it demanded that I feel deep into my bones how one leads others on this holy path.
I feel like I’ve been practicing manifestation a long time. But like anything if you don’t give it a tune up or give that so called manifestation muscle some regular love and attention it becomes a little floppy.
That was until the other night.
There’s a character I know, he’s featured throughout time, and he’s a hero (oine) of manifestation. He’s known as the magician.
He takes a clear intention and makes it manifest into a physical reality. That’s a magician- spirit to matter. One direct line from the cosmic universe to the earth bound raw reality standing in front of you.
I also particularly like the symbol of the magician- the wand. Perhaps that’s why Harry Potter grew in popularity at the same time the law of attraction and manifestation did. Magic is manifestation. And as cheesy as it sounds, you too can be like our friend Potter – a powerful sorcerous of your divine intentions.
Traditionally in art the magicians’ wand points towards the heavens and the other end points towards a table where sits symbols of the four elements. Earth, air, water, fire. Important symbols when it comes to manifesting. Air- relating to our mental function, water to our emotions, fire relating to our will and earth our relationship to the material plane. When manifesting, all of these elements and our relationship to them is vital to attaining a free flow of manifestation mastery.
I’m sure our readers are no strangers to the fact that what we feel about our intention or said manifestations is all-important. When visualizing our goals, how we feel when we visualise having what we want is no secret to the practiced manifestor.
Equally our mind imagines ourselves having manifested what we want. Weather looking through our own eyes or looking at ourselves attaining and experiencing it, both are wonderful and both work.
Fire and will play their equal role of importance. Having the will to practice, having the will to do this metaphysical work and keep a positive mindset as life rolls around day by day, week by week. Your fiery will keeps your manifestation practice front, middle and centre, because the universe loves persistence.
Finally earth. An interesting part of the equation. Our relationship to the material, no matter what we are intentionally manifesting requires us to be un-attached to the material plane. Grateful for what we have- yes. Attached and gripping onto our possessions and desiring because we hare a little desperate and attached to material possessions- no.
Being laissez-faire with when and how it all occurs, is a far better than being a control freak about it all. Holding on tightly isn’t really the free flow path that a masterful magician would conjure. Rather a self- assured belief and mastery of his tools is.
But as I dived deeper into the cosmic world of manifestation I realized there were 3 characters that played equal roles, they were all stars, sharing the limelight of manifestation together. They are the holy trinity of manifestation and, like great friends, are beckoning us to the party.
The second character in this cosmic threesome is the still, quietly beautiful holy priestess bathed in crescent moonlight. It’s as if her mere presence beckons us to sit still, close our eyes and receive.
Take a deep breath.
Imagine your third eye, see it opening as a deep purple light entering your inner eye. It begins to flood the entire view of your mind. It begins to travel down the body and as it does so cleanses the path.
Receiving goes hand in hand with free flow. Instant manifestation, miracles can happen if there are no blockages to it’s pathway. As you breathe and as you free flow in purple light, check for the resistances, check for the blockages.
Every inhalation is like saying yes to your heartfelt desires. Check does your inhalation match your exhalation? Is your inhalation short…or are you taking a full indulgent breath of the life force that’s available to you?
Behind the veil of this mysterious moonlit goddess is a simple truth. Have you mastered the art of receiving? Can you sit still enough, be present enough to the gifts you are receiving all the time? As you breathe and fully breathe into receiving, notice if anything comes to pop it’s head in the way.
Recently for me I had a block arise right around my heart. When I sat and watched it I saw that it was my mum’s relationship to money that I was carrying around.
From here I knew that the third archetype was going to dance her gifts into the spiral of manifestation mastery.
So here comes the earth goddess, the nurturer, the great mother, and the lady who loves dreams into existence. With her, your dreams are safe, loved and protected. If you feel unlikely, scared or blocked about any of your manifestations hand them over to her to love. Love and nurturing is the way to release any fear around not being able to have what you want.
She takes them to the garden, plants them, waters, them, puts fresh soil on them, blows a warm summer breeze over them until the seeds pop into form and take physical shape. Literally love your manifestations into existence is her message.
Take action to nurture your visions and dreams, to give them a full fertile ground to grow in.
It was precisely this that I did with the little ache in my heart about my family tree’s attitude to money. I loved it back to wholeness, where lack could not reside.
I think the universe responds to love. It’s one big vibration that sends out such a ripple that the butterflies in the amazon can feel them.
Imagine yourself sitting on throne in a green, flower filled garden. Sitting full and juicy with the transformative power of love your manifestations are being birthed and nurtured by this divine, creative love.
As you sit here amongst the majesty of nature she offers us one more gift. That is the gift of feeling grateful and fully supported by nature. We are abundant beings simply by living on this place called earth. There are gifts all around us and noticing and being grateful for these every day taps us into a power, a magic that is miraculous and beyond comprehension. It’s precisely that magic that brings us our dreams.
This archetype isn’t holding onto material possessions, she’s not fixated by having to have because she already has it all. Her love is so complete and her relationship to the earth so connected she is never without or lacking.
Take the time to be grateful, truly grateful for all the gifts you are surrounded by every moment and watch how your life becomes fuller, more whole and ever so abundant.

- Focus on your desire
- Feel good
- Open yourself to receiving
- Do you have an open channel to receive?
- What blockages can you feel around receiving?
- Love through those blocks
- Use nature to connect to magic and abundance
- Be in gratitude for all you have
