6 things that are holding your business back

Howdy, beautiful seekers

Is it another week of productivity and profit, or procrastination, indecisiveness and distraction?

Believe me, like the best of them, I get indecisive too. Through coaching many heart-centred humans, I’ve come to realise that indecisiveness usually comes from a place of good intention. BUT it never really serves us or, more importantly, anyone else for that matter.

Let me explain…

Are you creative?

Do you crave to be original?

Do you want to make a huge difference?

Does it need to be done your way and perfectly aligned with your soul’s true purpose?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you probably suffer from a disease called PERFECTIONIDIS.

Perfectionidis comes in many different forms. 6 in fact. And it is holding you back from achieving in your biz in so many ways. Perfectionidis is a creeper, she’s silent and can be very deadly and, worst of all, many of us don’t even know we have it, nor would we ever admit it. We are too perfect!

Here are the 6 things that are holding you back in your biz and how to overcome them:

Procrastination
Indecisiveness
Self-Criticism
Over-analysis
No risk-taking
Trying to please everybody

There is one simple way to overcome all of this and that is to allow yourself not to be perfect. That means you need to write your first program, even if you are not sure it’s what you really want. It also means that you need to run your first workshop, even though you don’t feel like you totally nailed the marketing and branding. It also means that you need to run your webinar, even if the slides are not totally amazing.

I totally get that coming from your heart, from truth, from your innermost integrity is important to you. More than anything you want to get it right. The thing is you will never get it right until you have the experience of doing it perhaps not quite right. Or at least until you have the experience of serving the kind of people who were attracted to your current message and brand. There’s nothing like the experience of another person to help you decide where you need to adjust and tweak. It’s from them that you need to get the feedback and it’s from being in service where you will learn the most.

So leave your self-importance behind and do the thing you were meant to do. Go out and change lives, go out and serve, go out and help others to get what they want and you will grow, expand and know so much about your brand and message 1000 times more than if you stayed behind your computer and sweated it out until you got it RIGHT!
